A water based fluorochemical carpet and upholstery protector
Stainshield Professional offers the highest level of fluorochemical protection available from the Chemspec range. Protection includes oil, water and general soil build up. Protector can increase the life of your customers carpet as well as offering the ability to blot out stains and avoiding permanent staining.
The protector is best applied following a mist of All Fiber Textile Rinse at a dilution of 20 to 1.
Coverage is variable depending on the weight of the fabric or carpet, however the following guidelines are reccomended:
Carpet - using the 4 to 1 dilution
Apply the 5L of ready to use solution to 25 square metres of 40oz carpet (normal axminster type)
Apply the 5L of ready to use solution to 50 square metres of 20oz carpet (low profile carpet)
Apply the 5L of ready to use solution to 12 and a half square metres to 80oz (shag pile/long pile or highly dense carpet)
Upholstery - using a 2 to 1 dilution apply 2 L of ready to use over 7 square metres of fabric (approx a 2 seater settee and 2 chairs)
The key is to thouroughly dampen the fibres

Coverage: up to 100 square metres per 4 Litres of ready to use solution.
Dilution: Carpets - 4 to 1 Upholstery - 2 to 1

A solvent based fluorochemical fabric protector
A highly effective fabric protector with fluorochemical co-polymer providing advanced protection from soil, water and oil based soiling to virtually all babrid types. This protector will not cause re-soiling or change the feel of the fabric.This produst can only be applied to carpets or upholstery that are not sensitive to solvents i.e. do not apply to tufted type carpets or flocked upholstery. Pre test carefully before use on any fabric type.
Always use a mask when spraying solvents of any kind.
Can be applied to dry or wet fabrics, the solvent will in fact speed up the drying times of wet fabrics.
