Unger SmartColor DampMop

The Unger SmartColor DampMop is a high-density, looped microfibre mop pad designed for streak-free, minimal-moisture floor cleaning. The microfibre material is highly absorbent, traps dirt effectively, and reduces bacterial contamination by up to 96%. 

Key features

Minimal moisture: The damp mop releases minimal moisture, allowing floors to dry quickly. This is ideal for cleaning areas where slips and falls are a concern.

High-density microfibre: A looped, high-density microfibre pile on the front of the pad provides excellent cleaning performance with minimal resistance.

Streak and residue-free: The microfibre construction ensures floors are left clean and free of streaks or residue.

Long-lasting and reusable: The pad is machine-washable up to 500 times, offering a durable and cost-effective cleaning solution.

Velcro backing: A strong "Z hook and loop" backing on the pad allows for quick and secure attachment to a compatible flat mop holder.

Colour-coded: The mops are available in a range of colours, such as red, green, blue, and yellow, to support a colour-coding system that prevents cross-contamination across different cleaning areas. 

Applications

The Unger SmartColor DampMop is part of a complete flat mop system and can be used on a variety of floor types. 

Sealed and vinyl floors: The DampMop with 7mm microfibres is ideal for sealed and vinyl floors without grout lines.

Tile and stone floors: The Micro Mop with 15mm fibres is better suited for rough surfaces like tiles and stone floors with grout lines.

Colour-coded areas: The four different colour options (red, green, blue, and yellow) help designate mops for specific locations, such as washrooms (red) or kitchens (green). 

Required hardware

The mop pad is designed to work with Unger's other SmartColor products:

Compatible holders: It attaches to a standard 40cm mop pad holder, such as the Unger SV40G DampMop Pad Holder or the Unger SM40G Flat Mop Holder.

Ergonomic handles: The mop holders can be paired with ergonomic and telescopic handles from the Unger product line.

Dual bucket system: The system is also compatible with Unger's dual bucket system, which separates clean and dirty water to improve hygiene.
