Slick 2 Connect Male

The Exceed Slick 2 Connect Male is a quick-release coupling designed for use in water-fed pole systems, specifically for professional window cleaning. Its purpose is to provide a snag-free, secure, and durable connection for hoses and pole tubing, replacing older and less effective fittings.

Anti-snag design: The tapered, lightweight construction prevents hoses from catching on the ground or other obstacles, a common frustration for window cleaners.

Secure connection: The fitting uses a simple "push-and-twist" bayonet-style mechanism to create a reliable and secure connection that prevents accidental disconnections.

Spring-loaded stop valve: The male fitting has a built-in valve that automatically controls the water flow, eliminating the need to overcome backpressure when connecting the two halves.

Protective cover: Concealed O-rings and O-clips protect them from damage and prevent them from catching on things, making the connection both safer and more durable. Colour may vary.

Lightweight and durable: It is made from tough nylon, making it lightweight and resistant to cold temperatures.

Compatibility: The male fitting is designed to work with 5mm or 6mm internal diameter (ID) pole tubing. Note that Slick 2 couplings are not compatible with the original Slick Connect fittings or other traditional connectors like Rectus 21 or Hoselock. 

How to use

Prepare the hose: First, slide the protective collar and an O-clip onto your hose.

Attach the fitting: Push the end of the hose securely onto the barb of the male connector.

Secure the hose: Move the O-clip up to the top of the barb and use an O-clip tool to crimp it tightly into place.

Connect the fitting: To connect, simply push the male and female fittings together until they lock. Then, give it a twist for a super-secure connection.

Disconnect the fitting: To disconnect, twist the fittings in the opposite direction and pull them apart.
