Unger nLite HydroPower Water Flow Valve

The Unger nLite HydroPower Water Flow Valve 18330 is a nylon, Hoselock-compatible on/off valve used to control water flow on the original (MK1) Unger nLite HydroPower DI filter system. It is a replacement part for units with a grey lid and is not compatible with the newer HydroPower Ultra models. 

Key features

Function: Serves as a flow control and shut-off valve for the water inlet at the bottom of the Unger HydroPower DI filter. Turning off the water when not in use can help extend the life of the resin inside the filter.

Compatibility: Designed for use with the original Unger HydroPower DI filter (MK1), which can be identified by its grey lid. It is not compatible with the newer HydroPower Ultra filter.

Connection type: Features both male and female Hoselock-compatible connectors for easy attachment to a garden hose.

Durability: Made of strong and durable nylon material for a long lifespan. 

How to replace the valve

Remove the old valve: First, detach the water flow valve from the inlet fitting at the bottom of the HydroPower unit.

Unscrew the fitting (if necessary): If the inlet connector is also damaged, carefully unscrew the older fitting, making sure not to damage the thread on the main HydroPower unit.

Install the new fitting (if necessary): Carefully screw on the new inlet fitting, ensuring the rubber O-ring is properly in place.

Attach the new valve: Finally, connect the new water flow valve to the inlet fitting
