Unger smartcolor Microfibre Cloth 40x40cm

The Unger smartcolor Microfibre Cloth is an UltraLite microfibre cleaning cloth designed for general cleaning, dusting, polishing, and wiping tasks. It is part of Unger's SmartColor system, which uses different colors to help prevent cross-contamination between cleaning areas.

High absorbency: The cloth can absorb more than six times its weight in water, making it effective for cleaning up spills.

Static dust collection: When used dry, the microfiber creates a static charge that helps attract and trap fine dust.

Efficient cleaning: The microfiber material is highly effective at removing dirt, grime, and over 96% of bacteria from surfaces.

Durable and reusable: The cloth features double-stitched edges for strength and can withstand up to 200 washing machine cycles.

Color-coded system: The cloth is one in a series of colors, including red, green, yellow and white, that can be used to prevent cross-contamination by assigning a specific color to a cleaning area, such as a bathroom. 

Lint-free: The cloth is designed to be lint-free, making it ideal for cleaning windows, mirrors, and delicate surfaces without leaving behind residue.

Dimensions: The cloth measures approximately 16 x 16 inches (40 x 40 cm). 

Care and maintenance

To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the microfiber cloth, Unger recommends the following care practices: 

Washing: Machine wash the cloth in water no warmer than 200°F (95°C) using a suitable washing detergent.

Avoid fabric softener: Never use fabric softener, as it clogs the open spaces in the microfiber and reduces its cleaning power.

Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. Do not use high-temperature drying or iron the cloth, as high heat can melt the fibers.

Storage: Allow the cloth to dry completely before storing it.
