Screw threads explained

We use fittings with BSP threads. This is the standard British thread measuring system widely accepted and used.

When measuring threads of fittings it's the inside diameter of the part that has the named size. So for example, a fitting described as having a 1/4" thread is a 1/4" BSP thread and this fitting has an internal diameter of 1/4" and not an outside thread diameter of 1/4". This is important in preventing ordering the wrong sized parts.

This is ideal for customers who want to secure it directly to their Minibore (8mm) hose. Clicks in-and-out of the Mini-endstop fittings 21KATF-6, 21KATF-8, 21KAIW and 21KAAW.

Choose your hosetail to fit either your "Microbore" (6mm) or "Minibore" (8mm) hose. Quick-release to fit the Mini Hosetail (21SFT).

You can also select the 6mm version to fit onto your pole tubing. Due to its waterstop feature this has the advantage of retaining the water within your pole tubing when you disconnect the quick coupling. You would then need to fit the Mini-hosetail (21SFT) to your microbore hose or use a tap assembly with the correct end fitting (Ref. 400, 400-8, 401, 401-8) depending on your hose size and preference.
